ABOUT THIS COURSE:
An Ijaazah in Hifz (Memorization) is one of the highest achievements for learning the Quran. Learn Qur’an Online Academy offers a complete online Ijaazah Program in Hifz with a strong sanad to the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS).
Steps to Getting Your Ijaazah
Complete our Quran Course. Complete our Tajweed Course and the Quran Memorization Course before beginning the Ijaazah program. Once your teacher suggests that you are ready, you may register to begin preparing for your Ijaazah.
Upon the suggestion and evaluation of their Quran teacher, students move to the Preparation Course for the Ijaazah program. This step, taking 3-6 months, prepares the student for reading, correcting any mistakes in the reading or memorization before beginning the official reading for the Ijaazah. The preparation course is the key to helping the student read a minimal number of times for the certificate.
Upon the suggestion of your Quran teacher, you may register for the Ijaazah course. This will begin your reading of the Quran for a Shaykh(a).
Upon completing the reading of the Quran, your teacher may or may not recommend you to receive your Ijaazah certificate. The Ijaazah certificate is only granted upon recommendation of the teacher. Learn Quran Online Academy will not override the teacher’s decision and no refunds will be given, should the student not earn the Ijaazah after the first reading*.
* Note: As we take giving an ijaazah seriously, a student is not guaranteed to receive their ijaazah certificate upon completing the first reading. The student may be required to return to reviewing in the Quran course and read a second (or third, or more) time for the certificate.
Upon receiving the recommendation for a certificate by the teacher, the student may order their official Ijaazah certificate to be mailed to them. If you wish to receive the official hard copy of your Ijaazah certificate with sanad mailed to you, there is an additional one-time fee of $500. This fee covers all administrative fees, additional teacher compensation and shipping costs.

- You will read for a Shaykh(a) who is qualified to give Ijaazah.
- At Learn Quran Online Academy, we take this program seriously. We don’t give an Ijaazah to just anyone. You must qualify to get your Ijaazah.
- Don’t get discouraged. This course can take time, so be prepared. Some students will get their Ijaazah after the first reading, but many will need to read the entire Quran multiple times before qualifying.

Details About The Course
An Ijaazah is a certificate used primarily to indicate that one has been authorized by a higher authority to transmit a certain subject or text of Islamic knowledge. MYLQ offers a complete Ijaazah Program in the Quran with a strong Sanad to the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS).
This course is for getting your Ijaazah in Quran Memorization.
What will you learn?
If you have studied and perfected your tajweed and memorization (if reading for an Ijaazah in hifz) then you are perfect for this online program. All students must meet the required level of tajweed prior to entering the Ijaazah Program.
If a student applies for the Ijaazah Program but does not qualify with the proper level of tajweed, he/she will not be accepted into the Ijaazah program. If this is the case, then we recommend that you sign up for our online Quran course, if you haven’t already. Once you have perfected your tajweed and memorization, you can apply again for the Ijaazah Program. Upon completing the Ijaazah program, you will receive a certificate from Learn Quran Online Academy as well as the Ijaazah with Sanad from your scholar.

Although we’ve gone to great lengths to create the most efficient teaching methods and learning materials, the Ijaazah program will still require that you have discipline, focus, and willingness to put in the necessary work. This is the most challenging and rewarding course in the life of a Muslim. Therefore, we suggest that you commit to a long-term schedule for better results.
REQUIREMENTS FOR OUR ONLINE TEACHERS:
- They Should be a graduate of a recognized institute.
- Ought to be Hafiz, Qari for better, and an Arabic teacher.
- Must have gone through training relating to The Quran thoroughly.
- Must be an expert at pedagogy (teaching methodology) skills which are most important.
- should know multiple languages—English, French, and Arabic.
- They must have experience in teaching Quran online. Had better treat students like a family (lenient nature).

Can I Take More than One Course at a Time?
