The course is ideal for learners aged 12 and up and provides the foundational knowledge needed to speak, read, and write basic Arabic. Whether you’re learning for travel, career development, cultural interest, or religious studies, this course offers essential skills to communicate effectively and understand the language.
Arabic is the language of the Qur’an, and learning it deepens your understanding of Islam. Additionally, mastering Arabic enhances your ability to connect with local communities, navigate Arabic-speaking regions with ease, and enjoy a more immersive and meaningful cultural experience.
1. Arabic Alphabet & Pronunciation
The first step in learning Arabic is mastering the Arabic alphabet. You will learn (God willing) the 28 Arabic letters, how to read and write from right to left, and how to pronounce the unique sounds that Arabic offers. A key focus will be understanding how the shape of each letter changes depending on its position in a word (beginning, middle, or end). The objective is to become comfortable with the Arabic script and pronunciation, setting a strong foundation for reading and writing.
Building your vocabulary is essential for communication. In this section, you’ll learn (God willing) basic greetings, introductions, asking for directions, ordering food, and essential expressions needed for daily interactions. The goal is to build a solid vocabulary base that will allow you to engage in simple conversations and feel confident in everyday situations.
Understanding the structure of Arabic sentences is crucial. You’ll start (God Willing) by learning the typical Arabic sentence structure (Subject-Verb-Object), along with verb conjugation in the present tense, how to negate sentences, and the use of personal pronouns. By the end of this section, you’ll be able to form simple sentences, ask basic questions, and use common verbs and adjectives to express yourself.
Knowing how to use numbers is vital for daily life. This section covers counting from 1 to 10, telling time, and expressing quantities. You’ll (God willing) learn how to incorporate numbers into conversations, whether you’re shopping, scheduling events, or simply referring to time or dates.
Asking questions is fundamental for communication. In this part of the course, you’ll master (God willing) how to ask essential questions like “What?”, “Where?”, “How?”, and “Why?”. Additionally, you will (God willing) practice using personal pronouns (I, you, he, she, we, and they) in different contexts, enabling you to confidently form and answer questions.
Once you’re familiar with the basic vocabulary and grammar, you’ll (God willing) move on to constructing simple sentences. This includes using verbs, adjectives, and nouns to create basic statements, describe objects or people, and express simple ideas. This section is designed to give you the tools needed to communicate your thoughts clearly in Arabic.
The best way to learn a language is by practicing with others. In this section, you’ll (God willing) engage in short dialogues, practice asking and answering questions, and apply your new vocabulary in real-life contexts. The aim is to improve your speaking fluency and boost your confidence in using Arabic for everyday conversations.
The course offers interactive learning through quizzes, exercises, and conversation practice. This allows you to actively test your understanding and track your progress as you advance through the material. Engaging in these interactive elements helps reinforce your learning and ensures you’re building a strong foundation in Arabic.
Another key feature is the native speaker audio, which provides authentic recordings from Arabic speakers. These recordings help improve both your pronunciation and listening skills, ensuring you learn the proper intonation, accent, and rhythm of the language. Listening to native speakers will enhance your comprehension and make your language use sound more natural.
Finally, Monthly assessment allows you to monitor your development and pinpoint areas for improvement.
